Accessing funding to start a business is everyone’s aspiration. Unfortunately the hard reality is that whilst there are some funds that provide finance for new businesses, they tend to be very particular about the type of business they are prepared to fund.
Most lenders that are prepared to fund startups look for businesses with high growth potential or highly innovative products, services or processes. The exception to this rule is Government, that provides various startup funds for new ventures in priority sectors such as Green, Agri-processing, selected Manufacturing, Technology and Innovation.
